UPOS DEFINED
For many decades, our primary manufacturer, ITC Systems, has been supplying UPOS or "unattended point of sale" solutions for campuses and libraries around the world. The primary object is "cost recovery" or the reduction in costs associated with services and supplies specifically for print, copy, vending and laundry cost centers. For many customers, the cost recovery model generates a positive cash flow for a self funded model.
Our goal is education regarding the entire UPOS model, from how value is added to cards to the many applications that will accept a cash card for products and services rendered.
