New Badge System for Municipality Beach Patrol: The old badging system was limping along while the budget system took course. After "Beach Patrol's" evaluation of several vendors' submissions, eXpress badging was selected to upgrade their legacy badging system (software, printer and camera). After an eXpress badging on-site inspection, new procedures were put in place at "Beach Patrol" headquarters so the newly installed system would be more secure and efficient upon implementation. The old process required five different colors of card stock to manage each different badge designation. With their new high-definition duplex printer that is now accessible within arm's reach of the issuing officer, they are producing higher quality badges that are more discernable using standard white PVC card stock.
The new badging software was designed to easily manage the issuance of "Beach Patrol's" 5 badge designs by the operator following a registration tutorial and user prompts for data entry, photo capture and badge printing. This was accomplished with the assistance of eXpress badging's on-site installation and training services, and not to mention the powerful badging software. The added bonus of being on-site, our technician was able to cleanup (merge & purge) their old MS Access badge data and photos, and they did not lose any active records. Great job to Austin for accomplishing this tedious data conversion task! Another simplified customer solution for a complex credential issuance environment by eXpress badging.
